Remove metadata from iPhone photos
iPhone photos include your location, the exact time and your iPhone model. Here is how to remove them with or without this tool.
Drop photos here
JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC. Free for up to 3 photos at a time.
Choose photosOption 1: the built-in iOS switch
When you share a photo from the Photos app, tap Options at the top of the share sheet and turn off Location. This removes the GPS position from that shared copy. It does not remove the other details, and it only works for sharing from Photos.
To stop new photos from saving the location at all, go to Settings, Privacy & Security, Location Services, Camera, and choose Never.
Option 2: clean the file here
Open this page in Safari on your iPhone, tap the box above and choose a photo. iOS usually hands the browser a JPEG copy, which this tool can clean completely: location, date, device, software and any extra hidden data. Then tap Download clean copy and save it to Files or Photos.
If you pick a HEIC file from the Files app, the tool will show you what is inside but cannot clean it yet. Share it as JPEG first, or set Settings, Camera, Formats to Most Compatible so new photos are saved as JPEG.

- Drop your photosPick photos or drag them into the box. They are read on your device.

No. This page works in Safari and keeps the photo on your iPhone.
